Ms. Mine was born and raised in Japan. Her Japanese father is a pastor, and her Australian mother is a English teacher in Japan. Ms. Mine originally came to the U.S. as an international student, and eventually got her artist visa as an active musician (violinist, conductor) in the SoCal area. Aside from loving to be the choral director at Brethren Christian, she enjoys serving as the music director at her church, Gospel Siloam Church, playing violin in the Lake Ave Church Symphony, being a part of the Pacific Chorale, and serving as the assistant director in the Angeles Chorale.
Her love for music is a part of her daily life, but she especially has a passion for church music and keeping worship alive in the church. Through providing different kinds of experiences for her choir and worship band students, she hopes to grow as a worshipper and musician with them.
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands."
