Brethren Christian Junior High School offers an academically challenging, Christ-centered, and socially positive environment in which to transition from elementary school to high school.  Students are taught by Godly teachers who are experts in their fields.  These teachers value students' individual gifts and talents, presenting them with the tools to succeed in the middle school years, while also preparing them for the rigors of a college-preparatory high school.

Through excellent academics, award-winning arts, competitive athletics, and multiple opportunities for leadership, students are offered an environment filled with opportunity.
  • Academics are taught by passionate teachers in small classes, creating a learning environment in which students are encouraged to be successful.  Because many of the teachers also instruct in the high school, students are prepared for success at the next level.  Advanced students have the opportunity to take University of California approved high school classes in mathematics and foreign language.
  • Students have ample opportunity to explore their creative side within the nationally and regionally regarded Brethren Christian Fine Arts program.  Classes are offered in Art, Choir, Drama, and Instrumental Music (beginning, intermediate, advanced, and jazz).
  • Technical skills are developed in Computer Technology.
  • Competitive league and team sports are offered throughout the school year.
  • Multiple opportunities for leadership and service encourage students to put their faith into action by serving their school and local communities.
  • An active learning environment includes field trips, camps, and guest lecturers, as well as special interest clubs to encourage individual curiosity in the world around them.
  • A positive social environment allows students to try new things, thereby exploring new opportunities for success.
Brethren Christian Junior High School is, above all, a Christian school where students develop a deeply personal faith in Jesus Christ.  Classes taught by Godly teachers, along with daily Bible classes and weekly chapels, lay a firm foundation to prepare students for high school, college, and the challenges - and opportunities - life brings.
