Mr. Lee Wilhite, Chairman 
 
Lee Wilhite serves as Biola University’s Vice President of University Communications and Marketing. In his role, he has chief responsibility for the university’s brand, creative, advertising, market research, public and media relations and university events. Prior to joining Biola he served as Executive Vice President and owner at Masterworks, the nation’s largest marketing agency exclusively serving Christian nonprofit ministries. Lee is a firm believer in Christian education having graduated from Northwest Christian University and now serving at Biola University. He and his wife, Leeta, are Brethren parents of three children who have graduated or are currently enrolled – Olivia, Annelise and Cameron. The Wilhites attend Compass Bible Church in Huntington Beach where Lee also serves in a leadership role.
 
Mr. Howard Yamaguchi 
 
Howard is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he earned his undergraduate and law degrees.  He is employed by The Salvation Army providing legal and compliance oversight in the western U.S.  Howard and his wife Linda are parents of Brethren graduates Andrew and Ryan.  They reside in Long Beach and are members of Bethel Grace Baptist Church in Bellflower.
 
 
Mr. Steve Stong 
 

In 1975, Steve received his BA in Economics from Westmont College. He then went on to Harvard Business School and in 1977 he earned his MBA. Since 1986 he has worked as the CEO of Steven Label. Steve serves on a number of boards for higher education, including: Westmont College Board of Trustees (1997 to present), Cal Berkeley Parents Board (2015 to present), and Biola Board of Trustees (1992-1997). Steve and his wife, Robyn, have three children, who are all BCHS grads (classes of '08, '10, '14), and remain strong supporters of BC.

They will be zealous advocates for the school, developing and sustaining relationships with its benefactors, graduates and friends, and will give generously of their talents and treasures. The Board will prayerfully seek God’s will and wisdom in all matters concerning Brethren Christian. The Board will provide leadership and exercise sound judgment in matters of policy, and be a good steward of school resources.
