ASB Executive Council

ASB Executive Council is a group of seven students who choose to make an extra effort to raise school spirit in school dances and events. The Student Body elected these students to represent them and plan wonderful activities like pep rallies, festivals, Homecoming, Winter Semi-Formal, Sadies, and King Warrior. These students are challenged to seek, execute, adopt, and lead the diverse student population as student leaders. Their goal as student leaders is to serve our student body as Jesus Christ served us, and be a good example of what followers of Christ looks and acts like.

2018-19 ASB Staff

Hi! My name is Savannah Westbrook and I have the honor of serving as the ASB president for the 2018-2019 school year. This year will be my second year at BC and I can’t wait to see what amazing plans God has for this school year. During my time at BC, I have been involved in many things such as soccer, cheer, softball, drama/musicals, thespians, P31, Honeycomb Café, and many other activities. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family, practice American Sign Language and Special Effects Makeup.

I am beyond excited to be apart of ASB and I pray that he will lead me and guide me to serve the student body and Him. I also pray that our school continues to strive and endure through rough times with Him walking alongside of us the whole way. My hope and vision is to help bring together a student family that supports and lifts one another up to become our personal best as God intends us to be.

Hey! I’m Sierra Martin and I’m the ASB Vice President for the 2018-2019 school year! I am heavily involved in music, choir, and worship at school as well as church. My love for student leadership started when I was elected to be the freshman class President, and my love for it only grew when I became the Junior class Vice President. I have also been playing basketball and volleyball for 6 years. Sadly, I recently tore my acl in a summer league basketball game and will be having surgery in December. I have been truly blessed to play the sports i love for so long, and I know God has another plan for my life! I have been attending Brethren since 7th grade and this year will be my senior year, and I am so excited to spend my final year at Brethren, serving my school, and more importantly the Lord!

This is my fourth year at brethren and i am so excited to have the opportunity to work alongside the rest of asb to make this year a great one !!

Hi, I’m Grace! I am a senior at Brethren Christian and have been a student here since 2012. I’ve been a part of junior high, Honors and AP courses, student leadership and the arts. BC is so important to me because of the amazing opportunities I’ve had while I’ve been here. I love that I can be a part of so many different activities and honor God through each of them while being part of a family community.

This year I took on the challenge of becoming the ASB Publicity Representative, which I believe is an amazing and unique role to the ASB team that caters to my creative skills. I hope to use these skills and my new experiences as Publicity Rep. to make a future as a Graphic Designer focusing on Marketing and Public Relations.

God has blessed me and my family with Brethren’s amazing staff, students, and opportunities. My favorite thing I’ve learned while at BC is exactly what my name means and how to apply God’s grace in my life. I have been able to understand exactly what His grace is for and how I can use it to love others as He does. I think that’s an amazing necessity that I will keep with me my entire life.

Hello, my name is Chloee Booth and I am your ASB Spirit Representative for 2018-19 school year. I am currently a junior and involved in many activities such as Salt and Light, cross country, basketball, etc.  My role as ASB Spirit Rep. is to plan the pep rallies, promote school spirit, and act as a member of ASB. I greatly appreciate the student body electing me as ASB Spirit Representative and will serve those duties for God's glory.

Hi! I'm Ryan Harper and I’m thrilled to be the ASB Commissioner of Creative Arts for the second year in a row. I am a Senior and am taking AP Art. I am fired up to setup all the dances’ decoration and create all the graphics. I am involved in Comedy Sports, Chapel Band, Musicals, and I did the mural last year.
I have had a magnificent life filled with travel and adventure that my parents made happen. I would like to thank them for giving me an incredible opportunity to travel the world and live in Casablanca, Morocco and Abu Dhabi, UAE. My travels have exposed me to many new people, cultures, and beliefs that have strengthened my faith. I also want to use my travels to benefit all events and dances.
After a memorable year with last year's ASB, I have experiences and knowledge that I want to use to help my team. I am optimistic that I can do a stupendous job with the assistance of all the tremendous people in ASB to make 2018-2019 a year to remember.
I’m excited to see how God will use me and where He will take each and every one of you this year with His perfect plans. I’m here to make you smile, so if you have any concerns or questions, let me know!
