70th Anniversary Gala

Dear BC Family,

We are excited about our upcoming 70th Anniversary Gala on November 4th at 5:00PM in the BC Mall, and we hope to see you all there!
The purpose of the event is to:

•  Celebrate our history
•  Envision our future
•  To raise funds to support excellence in the school

You may not realize that tuition covers less than 80% of what it costs to educate each student at BC. We do this to enable as many families as possible to benefit from a BC education, but it does leave a financial gap that we need to fill with non-tuition revenue.

All private schools depend upon the generous donations of their constituents as part of their long-term financial sustainability plan, and BC is no different.

Our goal for the evening is $500K, which will go a long way to achieve our goal of excellence in discipleship, academics, athletics and the arts. We would love to see:

•  2 gifts of $50K
•  4 gifts of $25K
•  50 gifts of $5000, and
•  50 gifts of $1000

Please pray as to what amount the Lord would put on your heart to give – any amount is appreciated.

We have created the “Superintendent’s Circle” for all donors of $5K or more. The school will recognize these folks as special supporters, and they will be invited to special events with the board and the superintendent. I am seeking at least ten families to enter the Circle before the Gala for a total of $50K to build momentum going into the event. Please contact me directly if the Lord leads you in this direction at jmoran@bchs.net.

The President of ACSI, Dr. Dan Egler, will be our keynote speaker. He is flying in from Colorado to support the resurgence of this historic ACSI school. He is an anointed man of God, and you won’t want to miss his message. There will be other impactful speakers, and Ms. Carleda Hutton will be leading an Alumni Choir to celebrate our 70 years of ministry!

Please RSVP with Margaret Stone at mstone@bchs.net to reserve a seat now - especially since seating is limited. A gracious donor has paid the expenses of the gala, so admission and dinner is free, so every dollar you give will go directly to building excellence at BC! Remember that your donations are tax deductible.

We ask for your time, talent and treasure to help BC transition from a ministry to a movement that will impact even more families for time and eternity. November 4th will be a great opportunity to partner with us in that effort. We all need to financially support this school that we love.

May God bless you and may God bless Brethren Christian!

Dr. John G. Moran, EdD
Superintendent of Brethren Christian Schools
