Beautiful New Landscaping
Have you noticed the beautiful new trees and flowers along the front side of the school? A BC family has generously donated new landscaping to improve our “curb appeal”. Another family has joined in the project with a $500 donation to help cover the sprinkler installation. Thank you to both these families for their dedication and commitment to our great school! Wind Symphony Scores Unanimous Superiors at SCSBOA Regional Festival
The high school wind symphony received the highest honors at the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association Regional Festival held on May 8, 2012. The band qualified for this festival by scoring Superiors at the local SCSBOA festival held in March. Congratulations!

HS & College Planning Night for All Incoming Freshmen - May 16, 2012
All registered Freshmen, Class of 2016, are welcome to this important planning meeting. Learn about the college planning process and which classes you need in HS to qualify for both graduation and for a variety of colleges. What are the UC a-g Requirements and how does BC's curriculum line up? What is Succeed.Naviance and how will it help me find the best college fit for me? What does BC offer to help me prepare for college and which tests and curriculum are offered? All this and more will be covered. Don't miss it!
CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Presently collecting food items such as: boxed cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, boxed crackers, etc. Foods will go to needy in Huntington Beach area. Drive ends May 11.
HS Wind Symphony Named 'Outstanding Large Band'
The HS Wind Symphony was named Outstanding Large Band at the Biola University Invitational Christian High School Band Festival, held Friday, April 27, 2012 in La Mirada. The band scored unanimous Superior ratings in both stage performance and sight reading, qualifying for a command performance that evening. Congratulations!
